This is the menu of the only restaurant in Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku that the Shinjuku main branch has allowed to separate from the main branch. The taste is not exactly the same as that of the main restaurant in Shinjuku. It may look similar, but it is not.

There is no menu list, only a ticket vending machine.

Tokusei Tsukemen

The tsukemen soup is slightly lighter than that of the main Shinjuku branch.

The soup looks like this.

Click here to see a video comparing the soups on the menu offered by Kobushi. If you are not sure which one to choose, please take a look.

The chashu pork is by far better at the Maeno-cho branch.

特製つけ麺は、ホロホロの肉汁ジュワーなチャーシューが3枚も入っています。
Tokusei tsukemen is filled with three pieces of tender pork chashu (pork belly).

This is Sasaki, the owner.

This is the store’s interior. The owner, Sasaki, is the one excluding the urn.

The owner has many regular customers due to the fact that he is also a sign maker. The business days are irregular, so if you are coming from far away, we recommend that you call before coming to see if they are open. However, the caller has a bad attitude, so ask quickly and hang up. Try not to get irritated.
